What would happen if Sicily itself became the background for some artworks? It would look like a artwork within the artwork, the creativity of man surrounded by the art of nature.
This is how, in the bed of an ancient dried-up river which flowed from the neighbors Nebrodi mounts, the "Fiumara d'Arte" (literally: art torrent) is born – in a landscape that alternates rocky desolation to stretches of lush vegetation and offers extraordinary views of the wide mountains and the sea in the distance.

A project of beauty that binds aesthetics and ethics in a new social policy, made up of civic engagement and involvement of new generations; a plan whose impact and significance are not limited to the local area, because its values and actions can serve as a model for many other places and contexts.
